On this page you can find information how to set up tracking on your device. This page assumes you have the following:
  • A Windows Mobile PDA (running WM2003, WM5 or WM6)
  • A sufficient GPRS / 3G / other data access plan, our recommended setting of updating every 5 seconds will use about 100MB per month
  • Some form of GPS receiver, ie. Bluetooth GPS receiver, on-board receiver etc..
  • Franson GpsGate installed and configured to access your GPS receiver
  • An account already created here on TrackMyGPS (see the registration page)
Providing you have the above, here is a step-by-step guide to configure GpsGate to work with this site:
  1. Open GpsGate and go to the "Output" tab, if it doesn't look like the image shown then you need to go to the "Advanced" tab and click "Show more options", then add a new input "GpsGate.com (send)"

  2. Choose "Connect to GpsGate Server", ignore the text box below it for now and then click "More..."

  3. Change Transport to "HTTP" and enter the following info and then click OK

    Server: http://trackmygps.co.uk/gps.php
    Port: 80

  4. Ensure "Use mobile network" is ticked and then click "...", make sure that all the boxes are checked as per the screenshot and then click OK.

  5. Click "Next" and then enter your username and password as per your registration on this site and then click "Test", if it says anything other than "200 - GPS updated at ..." then something is wrong and it'll explain what. Once that is done, click "More"..

  6. Change how you want to update the site, we recommend every 5 seconds as this provides a good update delay without swamping both your GPRS and our servers connection with requests. Then click finish.

And thats it! You should be up and running with the service. If you have any problems, you can contact us through the following mediums:
